The area adjacent to Cedar Point is called Sandusky Bay which is a very large and somewhat sheltered area with many marinas and boating facilities available. The town of Sandusky has restraints, bars and access to major stores such as West Marine, Lowes, Home Depot etc. and major food supermarket chains. There are several areas where anchoring is an option and sheltered anchorages are possible in almost all wind directions. A very active sailing community. |
